Social Media Manager – Kat Albana
Originally the khaleesi of her bed, Kat is now the Social Media Manager for KUNV overseeing all accounts and content creation — and she’s not just tweeting 140 characters, she using analytical tools to draw meaningful implications to strategize client’s content and distribution for the purpose of personal branding. As a Journalism/IMC major, she has interned for multiple companies like the World Series of Fighting, Bread & Butter PR, & Western Office gaining an impressive mix of Social Media, PR and Marketing skills. When she’s not busy cranking out graphics and captions, you might find Kat at the most aesthetic, Pinterest perfect cafe’s in town with her stormpooper puppy, R2. Indulge in techy, nerdy, and fancy (boujee) conversations with Kat.
Music Director – Steven Joseph Jr.
Steven Joseph Jr has been the music director. Steven is entering his senior year at UNLV. Before coming to UNLV, he played basketball at a junior college in Northern California for two years. Steven has hopes of going on tour with his own music or owning his own radio station…or both.
Producer – Carlos Leteriely-Trujillo
Carlos Leteriely-Trujillo was born in Idaho, but he’s lived in Las Vegas since he was six years old. In high school, Carlos wanted to work in culinary arts, but decided he would rather work in the music entertainment industry. This discovery led him to choose journalism as his major with a focus in radio broadcast at UNLV. Carlos is the first in his family to attend college!
Public Affairs and News Director – Zachary Green
Zachary Green been working in the radio industry for the past two years for some of the most prominent stations in the LA Market. He was a News Production Coordinator for KNX 1070 AM the highest rated all news/talk station. He also worked as a News Anchor, Traffic Reporter, Public Affairs Host, and Disc Jockey for 90.1 FM Mt. Rock and Audio 8 Ball Internet Radio. On his free time, he works with United States Track and Field and interviews current and future Olympians. In addition to helping out and working with the Special Olympics.
