June Hip Hop Music Review

For the month of June, I saw music from Canadian rap Drake releasing two songs, “Money in The Grave,” which had beats of an old school rap song for the 90s and a decent song in “Omerta.” The song isn’t what I was expecting from the rapper. He did, however, make up for it with the hit song with Chris Brown’s called “No Guidance.” A nice summer mellow song.
I listened to some of Goldlink’s album, “Diaspora.” The album was all around decent, but the song that deserves recognition is “Zulu Screams featuring Maleek Berry and Bibi Bourelly. The song feels tropical, and you can play this song during your summer cookouts. To wrap up the month of June YG released his album, “4Real 4Real”, Guess he wasn’t kidding around and let it be known with his D.J, DJ Mustard. From a tearful tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle in “My Last Words” to gangster rap with some bass in “Stop Snitching” with Dababy, YG has it all.
