Mistie Ragle is a freshman Journalism and Media Studies major at UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs this year. Born and Raised in Las Vegas, she grew up in the local radio industry. By being immersed in numerous radio stations and observing this profession, she was able to find out that she really had a passion for broadcasting.Though she’s always had a liking for it, she only really knows the technical aspects like engineering. She is excited to learn more about how to be an on air personnel.
When not in school she’s cuddling in bed with her cat Stardust, who may or may not love her back. While laying with her cat she always listens to a lot of music, her spotify is filled with a variety of music like classical, broadway, pop, and hits from other decades. She so dedicated to music that she served pizza at Life is Beautiful to get admission. Mistie is also a classically trained singer in a variety of genres, and an avid performer. She loves to experience all types of art and other talents.
