Our show focuses primarily on local police news stories as well as news surrounding the homeless crisis here in the Valley. We chose these topics because they are subjects that Kelly and I are very knowledgeable and passionate about. We both have been doing homeless outreach with Food Not Bombs Las Vegas for years so we are front lines, boots on the ground when it comes to this issue. From doing this work for so long, I have come to know many of the service providers throughout the city both large and small. We are both independent media journalists with Nevada Cop Block as well, so we write frequently about the police for that website.

I am also the Communications Specialist for Forced Trajectory Project. They work primarily with families directly impacted by police violence. So utilizing all of these connections we have a wide range of guests that we can choose from. We plan on bringing on more service providers to talk solutions. We also plan to interview families who have lost loved ones at the hands of police so that people can hear their stories. We want to bring on some more hard working activists that we have met over the years to talk about the amazing work that they are doing for our community.

Each week we will have a guest. The first hour will be an interview with them. When we break with them we will play a couple songs relevant to our discussion while we say our goodbyes and thank them for coming. The second hour will be us covering local, national, and global police news headlines and talking briefly about each story. The stories discussed will be current stories that have just come out that week so that the content we cover each week will be fresh. We will end our show with local events coming up whether it be protests, workshops, or volunteer opportunities for people to get involved.
